Last year's Horse of the Year in Fredericton will make her seasonal debut on Saturday at Exhibition Park Raceway in the afternoon's top class.

Four-year-old mare Rose Valley, a winner of over $40,000 in her three-year-old campaign, will have trainer/driver Mike Campbell in the driver's seat in the seventh and final race of the day.

Rose Valley will have her work cut out for her as she will take on Joseph Michael, a winner this past Monday at Fredericton for Todd Trites. Other starters in the race include Wave That Banner, Grimsby and Magical Alex. The purse of Saturday's top class is $1,500.

Race six on the afternoon will feature three award winners clashing as Claimer of the Year in Saint John, Dusty Lane Oscar, will engage two top aged pacers in the region in the form of Dance Hanover and American Captain.

Post time is slated for 2 p.m. for Saturday's program.
