.

According to an article by the Pocono Record, this is exactly what happened this week to a 52-year-old resident of Glasgow that has asked to remain anonymous

The report states that the man --- who stated that his "brain was a wreck" when he logged into his online account --- correctly predicted seven winners in a combined accumulator bet which was rated at odds of 706,128-1.

According to the report, William Hill, the UK betting firm which paid out the money, said the result was the biggest long-odds bet in its history.
