Shea Lare notched his first driving win Wednesday (May 18) at Harrington Raceway with a 1:55.4 victory aboard Fern Hill Flight.
Lare owned and trained the four-year-old Source Of Pride gelding, who came home impressively in :27.1 to win the seventh race by three lengths. Lare, 20, is the son of longtime trainer-driver Kevin Lare.
TLB Racing's Remarkable De Vie won the $15,000 featured Junior Open Trot in 1:55.1 over Monarch and Spee Club. Remarkable De Vie is trained by Traci Berry. Pat Berry drove the $8.80 winner.
Driver Art Stafford Jr. continued to have the hot hand with four wins on the card after a five-win night Tuesday. Corey Callahan and Pat Berry each had a double.
