Trotting mare Feel L A stepped up in class and she soundly defeated her male rivals and all comers again on the Wednesday, May 18 program at The Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park

.

The eight-year-old daughter of Feel Like A Winner-Keystone Nocture left no doubt about her status as the ruling current queen of the South Florida trotting ranks. With Tom Sells in the bike for owner and trainer Gaston Glaude,
Feel L A was sent first over against Linda Lovelegs, driven by Dan Clements, and she widened away to win the $8,000 purse event in 1:56.1, just a tick from the life's mark she earned on May 3. Tom Cango, in rein to Richie Simard, closed for second over Bay Lighting, with Norm Dessereault, while Linda Lovelegs was a tiring fourth.

Feel L A now sports a remarkable record of 12 wins in 17 starts this year at the South Florida venue. For her career she's racked up 27 wins for earnings of $170,787.

Gaston Glaude also sent out $8,000 claiming trotter Dubois Of France to victory on the Wednesday evening program, and the veteran conditioner had a runner-up finish with Duke Of Stormont in a $6,500 purse conditioned test. All were driven by Glaude by Tom Sells, who reined in three winners on the program.

In the $10,000 purse top trot, Bull Durham converted a second over trip from driver Mike Micallef into his fourth win in 17 starts this year. The Wewering-Money Ahead seven-year-old gelding sat just behind the battle of Speed O Begonia, driven by Bobby Smolin, and Sundowner Bob, in rein to Chuck Connor Jr. Bull Durham drew clear of that tiring pair through the stretch with Tug River Dylan (Walter Ross Jr.) and Kirty Dream (Tom Sells) closing up for the lesser shares.

The Preakness simulcast will immediately precede the Saturday evening, May 21 live harness racing program. Post time is 7:05 p.m. Eastern every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at The Winter Capital Of Harness Racing, with free live streaming and replays available in the 'racing' tab at www.theislepompanopark.com .
Tuesday programs are dropped from the schedule in June and Monday racing is also dropped in July in the final month of the current meet.
