Cantab My Party lengthened his win streak on Monday afternoon, May 12 when the Monica Krist trainee scored the biggest win of his career at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

The four-year-old trotter was winless in 2024 but has been like a new horse in ’25 and won for the sixth consecutive start in Monday’s $45,833 final of the John Mongeon Memorial Trotting Series. Cantab My Party prevailed in all three legs of the series leading
up to a final when he powered out to the early lead for driver Billy Dobson. Travelling unopposed through a first half in :59.3, Cantab My Party, who was a 4-5 shot, was met with the challenge of 3-5 favourite Steven Goldstein (Brett Crawford) late in the mile but that one’s chase was futile. Cantab My Party lengthened his win streak to six in a lifetime best 1:58 mile. Steven Goldstein, who secured two wins and a second-place finish in the preliminary legs of the series, finished one length behind while longshot Bluebird Ramona (Brian Cross) closed to be third.

Rick Dobson owns Cantab My Party, a gelded son of Cantab Hall out of Boos Party Girl who became the 12th winner in the history of the John Mongeon Memorial, which began in 2013.
