Fashion Delight, the 7-1 fourth choice in Trot Magazine's 2011 Pepsi North America Cup Spring Book, put the pedal to the metal during the Meadowlands Racetrack's Thursday, May 12 qualifying session

With David Miller at the helm for trainer Jim Campbell, the three-year-old Bettors Delight colt started from Post 5 and went gate to wire in 1:52.3 in Race 11. He cut the fractions in :27.1, :56.3 and 1:24.3 before coming home with a 28-second final quarter. Fashion Delight's margin of victory was more than nine lengths in what was his second qualifying effort of the season.
The session kicked off with the Tom Cancelliere-trained and John Campbell-driven Pilgrims Chuckie posting a two and three-quarter-length victory over the Greg Peck-trained and Brain Sears-driven Break The Bank K in 1:55.3.
Race 3 saw three-year-old Credit Winner colt Dejarmbro get back on track with a three and a quarter-length win in 1:56.2.
Three-year-old Broadway Hall colt Opening Night trotted in 1:54.1 and won Race 5 by more than six lengths over Broad Bahn, who trotted in 1:55.2 in what was his seasonal charted debut.
Race 8 saw three-year-old Bettors Delight filly See You At Peelers record a gate-to-wire, 1:52.2 win. The Breeders Crown victor triumphed by more than four lengths in her test.
Flipper J came from off the pace to capture Race 10 by a half length in 1:53.4. The Ed Hart-trained and Brian Sears-driven Roll With Joe (48-1 in Spring Book) finished second in the dash and was individually timed in 1:53.4. The Jimmy Takter-trained and Marcus Johansson-driven Grams Legacy (30-1 in Spring Book) finished seventh and paced in 1:55.3.
