According to an article on timesonline.com, Centaur is looking into alternative methods of funding for the $400 million est. project, which could involve taking on partners or continuing its pursuit of a bank loan in a hostile market, to overcome the latest in a long line of obstacles to plan for building a gaming facility.
Susan Kilkenny, a spokeswoman for Centaur, told timesonline.com that “[d]espite delays in the development schedule, Valley View is an extremely attractive endeavor and would create significant economic benefits for the region and harness racing.”
