Trot Insider has learned that Burning Point, Canada’s Three-Year-Old Pacing Filly of the Year in 2003, has given birth to her first foal.
According to co-owner Shelby Novick, who makes up the Cuzzins Stable with partner Kenneth Solomon, the nine-year-old daughter of Camluck produced a Real Desire filly earlier this morning at 6:15 a.m.
Burning Point, who made the final start of her career at Yonkers Raceway on November 2, 2007, finished her career with 46 lifetime wins, earnings in excess of $3 million in addition to a speed badge of 1:49.2 taken as a six-year-old in the final of the Breeders Crown at the Meadowlands.
