When he heads to the gate on Saturday night, Mr Saratoga will aim for his second highlight of the week after becoming a first-time dad on Sunday

Dan Clements told Trot Insider that Open class Mr Saratoga only bred one mare in 2010, iron tough pacing mare Proxahantis, and he only bred her once. The resulting foal, a colt, was born on April 24, 2011.
Clements has high hopes for the foal who is a three-quarter brother to The Prophet Mary, a Million Dollar Cam two-year-old training down in Florida and showing tons of potential.
Owned by Onlineharnessowner 7 of Uxbridge, Ont. Mr Saratoga will line up against two returning free-for-all favourites, Keystone Horatio and Lucky Man, in Saturday night's $35,000 Preferred Pace, leaving from the rail for driver Keith Oliver and trainer Anthony Montini.
