Winning Mister overcame another assigned post eight and went wire-to-wire to win the $35,000 Open Handicap Trot at Harrah's Chester on Friday afternoon

.

The victory was Winning Mister's ninth in 11 seasonal starts -- all of which he has been handicapped to the outer post positions and won on the front end.

In Friday's feature race, George Napolitano Jr. sent the Angus Hall-Winning Missbrenda six-year-old to the lead and cruised past fractions of :27, :56.4, and 1:24.3 before holding off the popular pocket-pulling Big Rigs and David Miller by a head at the wire in 1:53. Equity finished nearly three lengths behind in third for driver Yannick Gingras. The 3-1 third choice paid $8 to win.

Richard Gillock trains the 33-time career winner, who is approaching the million dollar earnings mark, for owner-breeder Robert Key of Leechburg, Pennsylvania.
