Monticello's VLT Revenue Rises

It has been reported that Monticello Raceway saw revenues from its video lottery terminals increase in the last fiscal year.

A report by the Times Herald-Record states that revenues jumped to $63.7 million, an increase of 1.6 per cent from the 2011-2012 fiscal year.

The article also states that during the same time period, Saratoga Casino and Raceway saw its VLT revenue increase by 1.9 per cent and Batavia Downs Casino saw its profits increase 8.75 per cent.

The report also states that during the same period, revenues at Yonkers Raceway's VLT gaming area dropped by roughly 11 per cent. Yonkers' closest competitor is the racino at Aqueduct, which was open for its first full fiscal year during the 2012-2013 period.
