It has been reported that Vernon Downs Casino saw a one per cent increase in its fiscal year which ended March 31, 2013.
“Thanks to the continued support of our patrons and community, we are proud to announce a banner year for Vernon Downs Casino,” the operation's principal owner, Jeff Gural, was quoted as saying via release.
Gural added that the operation's "robust growth is a testament to the successful public-private partnership Vernon Downs Casino enjoys with the state (New York State).”
An article by The Observer Dispatch explains that the video lottery terminals, which operate at Vernon, generated $43.6 million during the fiscal year.
