It has been reported that the push for tabling gaming to be included at Indiana racetracks recently received a bit of a blow in the legislature.
An article by wibc.com explains that an amendment to a bill that would include the addition of table gaming at state raceways was taken off the floor after a brief debate.
The amendment which was pulled was that of Representative Sean Ebert. The report has cited him as saying that he plans on reintroducing the amendment in hopes to have it included in the final form of the bill.
The article explains that the casino bill has been intertwined with a proposal to set aside a $10-million loan fund for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and other motorsports operations around the state.
