It was recently announced that Alex Tucker would be replacing Tom Wiedmayer as the new general manager of the Saratoga Casino Hotel.
According to an article by the The Daily Gazette, Tucker, a longtime executive with the company, had most recently held the position of president of gaming and finance.
Wiedmayer opted to step away from the general manager roles in order to spend more time with his family.
Tucker, who has more than 28 years of experience in the gaming industry, has held a leadership position with Batavia Downs in the past.
“Alex has been instrumental to our company’s success and continued growth over the past 11 years,” Saratoga Casino Holdings’ president, Dan Gerrity, commented via release. “I’m confident his experience and time at the property will allow him to seamlessly transition into the general manager role and continue to lead our team effectively.”
