Odds On Moinet and driver George Brennan made the top in a brisk :27.2 opening quarter until Tryst and Ron Pierce reclaimed the lead from them before the half-mile marker. Odds On Moinet sat snugly in the pocket as Rev Me Up (Brian Sears) pressured Tryst into submission on the far turn, then angled out at the top of the lane to stop the leader by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:54.1. The clocking was a career best for Odds On Moinet, who paid $18.40 to win. The Assissanator (Tim Tetrick) benefited from a second-over trip to finish a length behind them in third.

"I was trying to get in behind Pierce and there was no room, so I had to go on to the front," Brennan said. "I knew all I had to do was get her into play tonight. I was lucky enough to squeeze out at the top of the lane and she responded. Brian's horse [Sears and Rev Me Up] had a bit of a tough trip and I was able to slide out on his back and just put him away. She still came home in :27.4 after going :27 in the beginning."

Odds On Moinet got up in the final strides to win the first leg of the Tender Loving Care Series on February 3. She was the runner-up in the second leg on February 18, but was disqualified and placed seventh for racing inside the pylons.

"She was going to win that night, too, but I couldn't steer her very well," noted Brennan. "We put another head pole on her tonight."

A daughter of Real Artist-Aparte, Odds On Moinet was a $32,000 yearling purchase at Harrisburg by trainer Robin Schadt and Dana Parham's Odds On Racing of Crete, IL. She improved her record to four wins in 12 career starts and surpassed $50,000 in earnings with the stakes victory.

George Brennan later scored his sixth win of the night behind Ramona Disomma, who launched a huge stretch rally to win the $50,000 opening round of the Overbid Series for older pacing mares. Ramona Disomma paced a career best 1:51.4 as she nailed Ginger And Fred (Tim Tetrick) by a neck at the wire. Sportsfancy (Brian Sears) rallied off cover to finish third.

Ramona Disomma has now won 17 of 75 career starts and just under $450,000. Jacob Hartline conditions the daughter of Pacific Fella-Cinplicity for owner-breeder Anatolia Racing Stable of Hopewell Junction, NY. The Overbid Series continues with a $50,000 second leg on March 12 and concludes with a $123,000 (est.) final on March 19.

Friday’s $32,000 Invitational Trot went to three-time winner Sears and Likeahatoutahell, who made the winning move at the half.

Sunland Dakota (John Campbell) led the single file field of six through early stations of :28.1 and :57.3 before Likeabatoutahell angled out from third. The even-money favourite advanced through three-quarters in 1:26.3 and struck the front midway down the lane for the 1:54.3 score. Salutation Hanover (Yannick Gingras) closed well to place, finishing a length and a quarter behind over Sunland Dakota.

Trond Smedshammer trains the consistent son of Sjs Caviar-Miss Molly Tamale for owner-breeder Michael Andrew, of Gorham, ME. So far in his seven-year-old season, Likeabatoutahell has won three of his five races and has yet to finish out of the money earning $53,120. The 24-time career winner now sports a bankroll totaling $566,358.
