It was announced last week that British Columbia Thoroughbred track Hastings Racecourse will host 51 live race dates in 2014.
A report by the Vancouver Sun states that the track’s season is scheduled to get underway on April 27 and will run until October 13.
The article also explains that four tentative dates have been reserved for late October. The tentative dates are contingent on income from the meet.
The meet will feature 38 stakes events, including the BC Cup (Aug. 4) and the BC Derby (Sept. 14).
