Gotalottacredit (by Credit Winner) lasted on the lead in the feature for New York-sired trotters on Friday night (March 31) at Saratoga Casino Hotel.
When the favorite broke at the start, Gotalottacredit took advantage and moved out to the front end in the $8,030 feature contested over a sloppy track. Mark Beckwith piloted the Dave Dewhurst-trained trotter and asked the 7-1 longshot for all he had turning for home as fellow longshot Kandy Krush (Claude Huckabone Jr.) closed in. Gotalottacredit held on to prevail in 2:00.4 for his third win of the season while Kandy Krush had to settle for second. Starlingmoon (Jim Devaux) earned the show spot.
Gotalottacredit completed a driving hat trick for Beckwith, who has been on a tear of late. The trotter is owned by owned by Philip Hale and David Dewhurst.
