It has been reported that a two-year-old racehorse perished in a barn fire which occurred on Sunday (March 2).
According to a report on indystar.com, a wood and corrugated-steel barn located southeast of Indianapolis caught on fire.
The article states that six thoroughbreds were located in a field behind the barn and were okay, but a two-year-old thoroughbred perished in the blaze.
The Indianapolis Fire Department is suspecting that a pair of space heaters that were being used inside the barn caused the fire to start.
