After a perfect Canadian Horse of the Year campaign in 2024, what does Chantilly have in store for an encore? The fans of harness racing feel as though there's so much more in store for the talented three-year-old daughter of Big Jim.

In a recent Standardbred Canada web poll, fans were asked to chime in on the returning 2024 O'Brien Award finalist with best chance to match or exceed last year's earnings in 2025. From the more than 1,500 voters, Chantilly won that race — as she's done in every other race — by a comfortable margin.

Chantilly made headlines earlier this month when her connections — breeder-owner Millar Farms and trainer Nick Gallucci — followed through on an earlier assertion to nominate the filly to the 2025 Pepsi North America Cup, an unprecedented venture against the boys in a quest for Canadian harness racing's top prize.  As such, she's also the inspiration for our latest SC web poll. When will a filly beat the boys in the Pepsi North America Cup? Have your say by clicking here.
