Trainer-driver Rod Bolon, injured in a training mishap Friday at The Meadows, will remain overnight at Pittsburgh’s Allegheny General Hospital for further evaluation.
A family member said Bolon, 54, suffered no broken bones, and that a CAT scan was negative. However, she said he is experiencing nausea and neck pain, prompting additional testing.
Bolon was injured when, while in a jog cart, he was struck by a loose horse and propelled from the cart to the track.
