As of Friday, March 2, Fraser Downs' poker room is open to the public. Officials with the Surrey, BC racino allowed cameras to come in and snap some pictures prior to the grand opening

In an article by The Surrey Now, Fraser Downs General Manager commented on the addition of the machines to the racino, stating "… [poker is] a game of skill that players really enjoy, and it's just one thing that we were missing from this facility. We have the table games, we have the slot machines, we have the horse racing, now poker is kind of the finishing touch."
Straton went on to say, "Unlike other poker rooms where the players are kind of confined into a small space, this is very spacious," adding that, "poker players put in long sessions and it's important to have comfort. This room has everything they need to play poker."

Congrats on the new Poker Room. A lot of Poker players will try some harness sometime and two rooms may be needed in a few years.The extra TV's are a nice touch as well.
