First Training Win For Harding

Nate Harding picked up his first lifetime training win with trotter Cool Creek Valley on Thursday night at Woodbine Racetrack.

Rick Zeron guided the four-year-old Windsong Espoir-Allmar Victory mare to a gate-to-wire win in 1:58.2. It was also the first lifetime win for Cool Creek Valley, owned by Nate's mother Patricia Harding of Stouffville, Ont.

Harding's first win came in his 21st start as a trainer, but he's no stranger to successful stables having worked for the likes of Tony Alagna, Blair Burgess, Charalambos Christoforou, and Mike Vanderkemp in the past.

The Jackpot Hi-5 continues to grow after not being hauled down by a single ticket. Going into Friday night's card the jackpot carryover stands at $657,553.61.
