The second leg of the Delaware Standardbred Owners Association Series went postward at Dover Downs on Thursday, with a pair of $12,500 divisions on tap for four and five-year-old pacers

Melvins Dream, acquired earlier this year by Ian Fromowitz of Richmond Hill, ON, scored his second straight series win and seventh win of the year as Tony Morgan piloted the Gamblers Dream-KGs Starlet gelding to a 1:53.4 victory. Im Outtahair was a strong second in front of Freedom Soldier.
Royal Camelot with Bret Brittingham driving scored an easy 1:54.1 victory in the other division, which was contested as a non-wagering event. Ricky Pryor and trainer Erika Paradee own the Cams Fortune homebred. As Bad As Thunder finished second and Town Squire was third.
The victory was the first of two for driver Brittingham, trainer Erika Paradee and co-owner Ricky Pryor, who combined for Royal Fortune, winner of an $8,000 Mares pace in 1:58.2 later in the program.
