When it comes to horseshoes, Richard Rood apparently has more than one stashed away in his arsenal of
good luck charms.
According to an article the Portsmouth Today, Rood was one of 14 fans to take home £58,000 in a Tote Scoop6 last week followed by a £227,455 score this past Saturday. All in all, his grand total was more than $510,000 when converted into Canadian currency.
“I just got my cheque and it feels a bit unreal to be honest,” said Rood. “I don't think I'll have another week's racing like that ever again.”
