Two divisions of the Cam Fella Pacing Series were contested under adverse weather conditions at Woodbine Racetrack on Saturday night

, and upsetters prevailed in both splits.

Greystone Cash pulled off a 5-1 upset in the opening division when he prevailed over a field that included the heavily-favoured Sixdaysontheroad. Randy Waples rallied the Bruce Goit-trained son of Million Dollar Cam to the 1:54.2 victory over Magicmaker Hanover and Sixdaysontheroad.

Pat Ryan of London, Ontario holds the papers on the great grandson of series’ namesake, who improved his 2010 record to 2-2-1 in nine tries. The gelding is now a 13-time winner and he has banked in excess of $156,000.

Allamerican Motive lit up the toteboard to the tune of 25-1 in the second division thanks to a slick steer from driver Phil Hudon. The Jerry Sims-trained son of Four Starzzz Shark rallied off cover to win in going away fashion in 1:54. Star Party weaved through traffic in deep stretch to finish second and third prize went to Card Hustler.

It was the first win of the season for Allamerican Motive, who is owned by Sims and Dr. Paul Gatfield of London, Ontario. The pacer is now a four-time winner, and the lion’s share of Saturday’s purse bumped his lifetime cash stash to $87,688.

The top ten money winners from the preliminary legs will have the chance to square off in next Saturday’s $80,000 final at Woodbine Racetrack.
