While driver Scott Coulter's musical tastes might not be aggressive and intense, his driving style will be on Friday night as one of eight drivers competing in Friday's Ontario Regional Driving Championship

at Western Fair Raceway.

Coulter, who finished fourth in the 2008 ORDC at Grand River Raceway, didn't obsess over any particular drives that night but he is guaranteeing a change in tactics on Friday.

"I thought I did quite well [in 2008], I did the best I could under the circumstances and my horses all performed well," stated Coulter on Trot Radio. "I found that maybe I was a little too cautious and maybe that hurt me a little bit."

Born and raised in London - right across from the track, in fact - Coulter is looking forward to competing in front of family at Western Fair's half-miler, a track where early position is so crucial. Coulter is also well aware that his fellow competitors could share his strategy.

"With these guys that are lining up on each side of me, they're aware of that so I expect it's going to be quite a light show on Friday night."

Clearly talented on the track, Coulter is equally talented off the track as well. Though many in attendance at the annual Walltyme Golf Tournaments have heard Coulter's voice, stating "he'd do anything for harness racing" Coulter offered Trot Radio as taste for the world to hear.
