Even at the age of nine, Enavant remains a serious threat.

A son of Somebeachsomewhere-Lady Be Great who commanded a $260,000 sale price as a 2017 yearling, Enavant didn't start his on-track career until the age of four. But when he started, he impressed. Unbeaten in 11 starts at four, Enavant started his career with 12 straight victories and ended his five-year-old season in 2021 racing against and defeating some of harness racing's top open company. He took his mark of 1:48f in the Potomac Pace at Rosecroft, besting the likes of Allywag Hanover and This Is The Plan.

As a six-year-old, was limited to one win in seven starts in 2022 and then didn't race for all of 2023. In fact, Enavant was sidelined for nearly two years when he returned in a qualifier at Hippodrome 3R on July 19, 2024 for trainer Maxime Velaye and driver-co-owner Guy Corbeil.

After some conditioning miles at 3R last summer, Enavant returned to the Ontario-based Luc Blais last fall and showed some of that old form with wins in 1:51.1 in October and 1:50.2 in early November. He ended his comeback season with a 5-0-1 slate from eight appearances.

Back into qualify on Friday, Feb. 6 at Woodbine Mohawk Park for the second straight week, Enavant and driver Tyler Jones closed from seventh and last at the three-quarter mark of his morning test to pick off Seriously Hanover (Brady Le Cain) and pacesetter Bet Nineteen (Louis-Philippe Roy) in a 1:58.3 mile. Judges applied a two-second variant for the conditions.

Enavant is owned by Corbeil and Determination of Quebec. He's a 22-time winner in his career with $280,425 in earnings.
