The legal team representing the Monticello Harness Horsemen’s Association has informed Monticello Raceway that the track will have to cease exporting its simulcast signal until a new deal is reached with the horsemen’s association.
Joe Faraldo, who is representing the MHHA, has stated via correspondence with track officials that the simulcasting agreement expired on January 31 and that negotiations on a new deal have reached an impasse.
Faraldo has stated that according to the law the track must cease exporting its simulcast signals across state lines until and agreement is reached.
