Reports of new stallions in PEI for the 2012 breeding season continue to come to light, as an article regarding another pacing stud standing on The Island emerged Friday

Nick Oakes has been bringing the updates via his weekly column in The Guardian, and his most recent report states that Chasin Racin, a six-year-old bay by The Panderosa, will be busy this year.
The career winner of 18 of 81 starts and over $713,000 in purses will be collected at the Atlantic Veterinary College prior to heading to the stable of Earl Smith at Red Shores' Charlottetown Driving Park for a 2012 campaign.
Oakes' report also states that a benefit is being held Friday, February 3 for Kevin Campbell, the son of breeder Blair Campbell. The benefit will take place at the Murphy Centre in Charlottetown. Kevin is battling cancer
