On Sunday, February 27, driver Tim Tetrick broke the longest existing record at Dover Downs when he won nine races on the 15-race program. He had driven in 12 of the

card's dashes.

The previous record of eight wins on one card was set in 1998, and then equalled in 1999, by then-leading track driver Luc Ouellette.

Tetrick is the single-season dash-winning record holder, as he won 1,178 in 2007.

Tetrick began his memorable night by driving Enee Weene And Me to a 1:53.2 victory in Race 2. He followed by winning with Playland Place in Race 3. His next wins came in Race 5 with Lenny K and Hope Lane Hanover in Race 7. Tetrick then scored again with Ty A Big Star in Race 8.

Tetrick began to dominate in Race 11 when he won with Trouble Hanover. After that he won Race 12 with Ivan B Me Hanover, Race 13 with Intrepid Hall, Race 14 with Shakearosa, and Race 15 with Beau Shiraz N.
