Earlier this week, the Senate State & Local Government Committee in Kentucky passed a bill that calls for members of the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission to adhere to the state’s executive ethics code, which also applies to members of similar state boards.
A report by The Courier-Journal explains that the piece of legislation, Senate Bill 150, now moves to the full Senate.
The bill is sponsored by Senator Whitney Westerfield.
