Team Davis Dominates At Flamboro

Just twenty-four hours removed from Wednesday’s five-win performance at Flamboro Downs, driver Billy Davis, Jr. made his way back to Canada’s fastest half-mile oval and produced another five trips to victory lane

. Three of those winners hailed from the stable of his father – trainer Bill Davis.

Davis, who put up personal best numbers of 404 wins and purse earnings in excess of $2.7 million last year, finds himself atop the North American leader board in 2012 thanks to a win total that now stands at 70.

After second and third-place finishes in the first two races on Thursday’s card, Davis captured Races 3 and 4. Sweetsunsetspecial (1:58.1) took Race 3 and stablemate St Lads Treasure (1:57.1) did the winning in Race 4 to give Team Davis back-to-back tallies.

Krusher (1:59.1) gave Davis the driving triple thanks to his narrow score in Race 6, and Cracker Stoney (1:57.2) bumped the win total to four thanks to his front-stepping decision in Race 10. Businessorplease (1:57.1) romped to an easy win in Race 11, thus giving Billy Davis, Jr. his fifth driving win on the card and trainer Bill Davis the training triple.

Lock this guy up--he's DANGEROUS!!!!!!!!!
What a heads up performance! Nobody can win 5 races on consecutive nights, and not be a kid with a bright future. He's on a roll which could mean 10-15 wins each week.
The first guy I check every night is DAVIS.

The best thing I like is that when he wins, he does so in clumps or bunches. His drives at Flamborough start the ball rolling, and then the momentum keeps him going at WEG.

A very bright star in the future (and quite possibly not in the future, but how about right now !!!)
