Fourteen-year-old pacer Activator celebrated a major milestone Tuesday evening at Northfield Park when he grabbed the 50th win of his career.

With Ronnie Wrenn, Jr. at the controls, Activator got away fourth from his second-tier starting spot. He enjoyed a ground-saving trip while Most Happy Dragon wheeled the field through fractions of :28.1, :57.3 and 1:27.3. Activator found room down the lane and used a :29.3 closing panel to prevail by one-quarter of a length over Most Happy Dragon in 1:57.3.

Scot Davidson trains the son of Western Hanover-Something Electric for Preston Kinsey of Clayton, Delaware. The classy campaigner, who earned a 1:49.4 record at The Meadowlands as a four-year-old, has stashed away more than $900,000 in career earnings.
