Woodbine Entertainment Group President and CEO Nick Eaves made a splash into the headlines last week when it was announced that he had cracked The Globe and Mail's 'Power 50 List.' It has been revealed that Jeff Gural has found his way onto a similar list

.

NJ Biz Magazine has ranked the Newmark Knight Frank chairman and Meadowlands Racetrack operator No. 54 on its 'Power 100' list.

In regard to Gural, the write-up beside Gural's entry says:

'Add this to the great mysteries of the state: What does Gural see in owning the Meadowlands racetrack? Well, if casino gaming ever gets approval outside Atlantic City, he’ll be first in line for some slot machines. And his real estate empire of Newmark Knight Frank gives him the resources to make the track work.'

Governor Chris Christie topped the list, while real-estate mogul and Gov. Christie Advisor Jon Hanson came in at No. 6. Senator Ray Lesniak, who is one of the engine's behind New Jersey's push for legalized sports wagering, is No. 40 on the list.
