Making her seasonal debut two months later on Wednesday Feb. 12, she picked up where she left off winning the top distaff class.
Following a pair of winning qualifiers, Alittlesidehustl N was the public’s even-money betting favourite in the first start of her seven-year-old campaign. Driver Billy Dobson wasted little time powering post seven starter Alittlesidehustl N out to the front end in Wednesday's $21,429 Fillies & Mares Open Handicap Pace and carved out fractions of :28, :57.3 and 1:26.3. The Hes Watching-Uandmebabe mare felt just mild pressure in the stretch before hanging on to win in 1:55.4 by three-quarters of a length. Longshot Magical Maya A (Matt Athearn) shook loose to be second at odds of 14-1 while Saratoga's defending Mare Pacer of the Year, Arizona (Brett Beckwith), closed from the back to be third.
Alittlesidehustl N, a five-time winner from 32 starts last year, notched her 25th career victory and litfed her earnings to $361,476 for New York-based owners Kellogg Racing Stables and Jackie Greene Stables.
