The totals are in from the Mildred Williams International Driving Series 2008 charity events.
This year the Canadian and American harness racing communities raised $91,511 for various breast cancer charities, harness horse retirement foundations and a food bank.
Each racetrack chooses their own fundraising activities that take place in conjunction with the 'Mildred' races and they also choose their own local charity.
Once again Kawartha Downs is the leader in fundraising giving $16,331 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Fraser Downs Night of Hope fundraiser gave $8,014 to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Saratoga Raceway raised $6100 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
