A video shot at Woodbine Racetrack has taken the Internet by storm, garnering over 2.3 million views and growing by the minute. Ironically, the video has nothing to do with horses or racing

.

Last month a video was posted that features a family of ducks trying to cross between Woodbine's thoroughbred paddock and walking ring.

Matt Stevens, a camera operator on the WEG network broadcast crew, captured the video earlier this year.

"We were under a wind delay on a thoroughbred card sometime during the Spring," Stevens told Trot Insider. "I was working a camera that was shooting the walking ring, noticed the ducks and just got happened to capture the footage."

Stevens still isn't sure how the video made its way online.

"I'm not sure that my camera was live at the time," said Stevens. "We did cancel racing that day. If that was on air, it's possible that TVG showed that footage to its viewers to show how windy it was."

When reached by telephone, Stevens was watching his footage on TV as G4TV had picked up the video as the network's viral video of the day.

The video now ranks in the top 10 for youtube's videos in the pets and animals category and has received over 1.3 million views in the last 48 hours.
