The wins and cash just keeps piling up for Ramegade Bruiser, who front-stepped his way to a 1:50.4 score in Saturday’s $50,000 Open Pace at Woodbine Racetrack

Mark MacDonald took full advantage of Ramegade Bruiser’s gate speed by rolling him to quarter pole in :26.1. With six rivals lined up in a hurry, the five-year-old son of Rambaran rattled off remaining panels of :54.4 and 1:22.4 before finishing them off with a :28 second final frame.

Zooka, who enjoyed a ground-saving trip, shot up the pylons to grab the runner-up award and Kindly Poet, who sat in the garden spot throughout the mile, rounded out the top three.

Dave Brown of Cannington, ON owns and trains the gritty gelding, who won for the 11th time this season and for the 30th time in his career. His seasonal bankroll of $283,070 has lifted his lifetime earnings to $606,739.
