Guy Gagnon came into Thursday's card at Rideau Carleton Raceway with four chances to drive home a winner from his own stable, and he delivered with three of them.
Gagnon started with a gate-to-wire score with veteran trotter Four Starz Speed in Race 4, then duplicated that winning formula to click with Norstar Seelster in Race 7 and Commissioner Daley in Race 9.
With Rideau's next card slated for Sunday, Gagnon finishes 2016 as the track's leading money-winning driver while finishing second to Louis Philippe Roy for races won. The Gatineau, Que. native boasts nearly 4,700 lifetime driving wins with another 1,236 as a trainer.
