Lifestream Mindale was a dominant winner in Tuesday’s $39,400 final of the Robert Simpson Pacing Series at Georgian Downs, and that was music to the ears of owner Gerrie Tucker of Montreal, Quebec.

The 10-year-old son of Life Sign picked up the 54th win of his career, and he did so in impressive fashion for the team of trainer Bill Robinson and driver Mike Langdon.

Langdon wasted no time in putting the classy campaigner on the engine, and once in command of the pace the veteran rolled the field through splits of :27.4, :58 and 1:27.1 before kicking home in :28.2 en route to notching the 1:55.3 decision.

Runner-up Vintage Favorite was more than eight lengths in arrears. He edged out Otabe President, who had to settle for the show dough.

Lifestream Mindale, a career winner of close to $250,000, has banked $57,919 over the course of the 2008 season.

The Tuesday evening program also proved to be a profitable night for the tandem of trainer Rene Allard and driver Simon Allard.

The brothers teamed up to for a Georgian Grand Slam thanks to wins with Cannae Thunder (1:57.3), Insalted (2:00.1), Kashas Kid (1:58.2) and March Mattness (1:57.1).
