Standardbred Canada (SC) invites members of the harness racing community to be part of the sport’s most prestigious night as tickets for the 37th O’Brien Awards Black Tie Gala are now on sale.
Set for Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, the O’Brien Awards Gala will take place at the J-AAR Expo Centre at Western Fair District in London, Ont., where champions of the 2025 harness racing season will be recognized and celebrated in a spectacular Moulin Rouge-themed evening.
The gala is a signature event for the Canadian harness racing industry, bringing together owners, breeders, trainers, drivers, industry leaders and fans for an unforgettable night of elegance, entertainment and recognition.
Guests can look forward to:
- A red carpet arrival and cocktail reception
- A four-course gourmet dinner
- The presentation of the O’Brien Awards
- A high-energy after-party featuring live entertainment and late-night food stations
The dress code for the evening is Black Tie, and attendees are encouraged to embrace the glamour and excitement of the Moulin Rouge theme.

O’Brien Award finalists were announced on Dec. 19 and the winners will be revealed at the Black Tie Gala.
For those travelling from out of town, the Hard Rock Hotel London has been named the official host hotel for the weekend, offering guests a premium stay just minutes from the gala venue. Hotel booking details will be released shortly.
