"We want to put a bit of an edge to harness racing. You know things about horse racing that's never been put out there; the competitiveness, the wanting of that win, and the striving to get it. With all these things that you want, different characters and personalities come out...people handle winning and losing in a completely different way. And that's what we want to show, the competitiveness, the danger, the beauty of the sport."

On today's Trot Radio, Norm Borg talks to Randy Waples and Allan Pootoolal about their new business venture - a TV show about harness racing that was announced on Monday.

"This is not going to be a reality show," reinforced Pootoolal, "this is going to be a real show, meaning nothing is going to be staged and scripted. We want to show the ins and outs, the ups and downs, we want people to see our participants for who they are, where they go to, what they do, what they say."
