Mere hours after learning he’d been declared a finalist for Canada’s Driver of the Year Award, Scott Zeron trekked to Georgian Downs and celebrated with a six-win performance on the 12-race card

.

Zeron, who leads the nation when it comes to winning races in 2010, was kept away from the winner’s circle for the first two races before taking the bull by the horns and winning in bunches throughout the remainder of the program.

Mr Rambaran gave Zeron his first taste of victory lane thanks to his 8-1 upset in Race 3. The Paul Taylor-trained son of Rambaran survived a first-over journey en route to posting a 1:57.1 win. Zeron came right back and took the checkered flag in the very next race with Maple Leaf Quix in a time of 1:59.4.

He completed the hat trick with All Ours, who front-stepped to a 1:58.2 triumph in Race 6, before making a round trip to the winner’s circle in Race 7 with Nothing To Hide in 1:55.1. He throttled rivals with Yukons Luck in Race 9, as the son of Camluck drew off to win by 11-3/4 lengths in a time of 1:54. He capped off his big night at the office by winning with Rave On in a time of 1:53.1 in Race 11.

The 2010 season has been kind to Zeron thanks in large part to a seasonal bankroll in excess of $4.3 million and 602 victories to go with it. Both of those totals are greater than the first three years of his career combined.

I think the journalist should create a template for Scott's multiple wins nights. Seems to happen alot ...this would save alot of time for the writers.
