The Wayfaring Man Wins At Saratoga

Sitting a pocket trip, The Wayfaring Man won the $19,500 Open Pace in his debut at Saratoga Harness on Saturday, December 2 in 1:53.1.

Dancin Yankee got a relatively easy lead, and traveled unopposed in a first-half clocked in :57, but was confronted by The Wayfaring Man at three-quarters in 1:25. The Wayfaring Man overtook the pacesetter around the final turn and maintained the front to win. Dancin Yankee finished second, and Americanprimetime was third.

The Wayfaring Man, who was driven to victory by Bruce Aldrich Jr, paid $25.80 to win.

Live racing continues on Sunday, December 3 with a matinee beginning at 12:15pm.
