Francis Guillemette added another three wins to his career-best seasonal total as he tripled on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at Flamboro Downs.
Texaco Man ($2.20) kicked things off for the Guelph, Ont.-based conditioner, leading his three rivals from the first turn to the finish in the second race in a 1:57.3 score by two lengths. Travis Henry teamed the 10-year-old Chapter Seven-Up Front Hotsey gelding, who is owned by his trainer.
The Guillemette barn went back-to-back, winning the third race with Palladium Hanover ($2.40) via a pocket trip from driver J Harris. The five-year-old son of Artspeak-Pilgrims Witchie scored by a neck in a contested stretch drive for owners Guillemette and Gestion A&A Belanger Inc. and Michel Berthelet of Shawinigan, Que.
Hes Got Swagger ($2.30) completed the Guillemette triple in the eighth race with a front-end victory in 1:55.3 for Harris. The 10-year-old Vintage Master-Bubbles Promise gelding was two lengths the best for his owner/trainer.
Guillemette’s trio of wins brought his 2025 tally to 137 and his yearly earnings to $873,901, both new personal records for the 32-year-old. The Quebec native is second in the Flamboro standings, 11 wins behind Jodie Cullen, and tied for third nationally in wins, equal with Gerard Demers on 137 and trailing Kyle Fellows (165) and Cullen (211).
