Everyone knows Bo Derek was a perfect ‘10’, but Jacques Beaudoin should be more than satisfied with being a perfect ‘5’.
The veteran reinsman had five drives Thursday evening at Rideau Carleton Raceway, and he won all five of them!
Beaudoin kicked off the card with a gate-to-wire score in the opener with Hawaiian Drummond (2:01.2), and he was back to victory lane in Race 5 thanks to a come-from-behind score with Flight Of An Angel (1:59).
Optima Kemp (2:01.2) turned a two-hole trip into a sixth race score for Beaudoin, and Private Interview parlayed a similar trip into an eight race triumph for that same reinsman. The five-win night was completed in Race 9 thanks to a rallying triumph with Toga Town (2:00.2).
Beaudoin pushed his yearly win total to 65 – his highest since 2012 – while his seasonal purse earnings climbed to $314,235. The career winner of 4,551 races has racked up more than $14 million in lifetime purse earnings.
