On Dec. 15, 2022, voting ballots that were cast by eligible Standardbred Canada Breeder Members for amendments to By-Law #2 were tabulated. All proposals put forward by the Breeders Committee have been approved by a majority of Breeder Members.
As per By-Law #1, Article 11.4: “No repeal or amendment of the By-Laws shall be enforced or acted upon until the approval of the Minister has been obtained.” With the approval of membership, Standardbred Canada will submit the same to the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food requesting approval.
The 2022 Standardbred Canada By-Law Vote was conducted by Simply Voting with the office of Grant Thornton acting as scrutineer.

Annonce concernant les modifications au règlement no 2
Le 15 décembre 2022, les bulletins de vote déposés par les membres éleveurs éligibles de SC éligibles pour les modifications au règlement n° 2 ont été compilés. Toutes les propositions émises par le comité des éleveurs ont été approuvées par la majorité des membres éleveurs.
Conformément à l'article 11.4 du règlement no 1 : « Aucun règlement ne sera amendé ou abrogé ou mis en vigueur avant d’avoir été officiellement approuvé par le ministère. » Avec l'approbation des membres, Standardbred Canada soumettra les modifications au règlement au ministère de l’Agriculture et Agroalimentaire pour leur approbation.
Le vote sur les règlements de Standardbred Canada 2022 a été organisé par Simply Voting avec le bureau de Grant Thornton agissant en tant que scrutateur.
