Pinner, under the command of Marc Campbell, notched his fourth win in a row in the afternoon feature on a cold Saturday at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The track was rated fast with a two second variant when Pinner fired off the gate, but Campbell changed the front end tactics game plan when rail-sitter Bunny Mach insisted on the early lead. The son of Mach Three tracked the leader through a :28.2 quarter and half-mile in a minute before taking charge at the three-quarter marker of 1:29.2 en route to a 1:59.2 two length score for trainer and co-owner Brian Ladner along with co-owners Kevin and Lillian Ladner of Charlottetown. Artist List (Mark Bradley) was second with Blu Meadow Willie (Brodie MacPhee) third. The 4-2 exactor paid $11 with the 4-2-5 triactor returning $44.80.

The fastest mile of the day went to Mcmaverick in 1:58.4. John Holmes did the driving for owner Keith Campbell of Tyne Valley, P.E.I.

Tymal Tyme gave driver Brian MacPhee back-to-back winners in the Boyd Leslie Memorial trot class. The owner/trainer group of Tessa MacKinnon, Cindy MacDonald and Tanya MacKinnon, who purchased the cooler in memory of Leslie, made the presentation to runner-up Sandhill Angel and owner Glen Claybourne of Charlottetown. A classy move from the team of Eastern P.E.I.

Campbell, Mark Bradley, Walter Cheverie and Corey MacPherson also recorded driving doubles.
