In the cold and wind-driven snow of Yonkers Raceway, the Cat Manzi Countdown Clock advanced ever so slightly Monday night

Manzi won once in his seven Westchester drives, leaving him at 13,999 driving victories - third all-time in North America - for his career. He prevailed with the odds-on Mcardle Park ($3.30) in the $14,000, third-race pace (1:57.2).
The quest for his latest milestone continues here Tuesday night, with Manzi scheduled for another seven drives.
In another matter, horsemen are advised that nomination forms are available for Yonkers Raceway's 2011 winter series. The Petticoat and Sagamore Hill Pacing Series, for three and four-year-olds of both genders, both close February 15. The series commence March 18 (Petticoat) and March 19 (Sagamore Hill).
The George Morton Levy Memorial Pacing Series and its companion Free For All event, the Blue Chip Matchmaker, both close March 1. The Levy, getting underway March 26, offers an estimated $1 million total purse, while the Matchmaker, beginning March 25, goes for an estimated total of $750,000.

Yonkers' current live schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) remains in effect, with first post at 7:10 PM. Evening simulcasting accompanies all live programs, with afternoon simulcasting available around the NYRA schedule. Wednesday afternoon simulcasting ends at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Please be advised that the final 2010 live program is scheduled for Tuesday, December 21, with the 2011 season beginning Thursday, January 13 (pending approval of the New York State Racing and Wagering Board).
