Daniel Gaboury recently announced that he was getting into the Christmas spirit by donating all of the December winnings from his horse, Buddys Hope, to the Surrey Food Bank. Now, news has come out about a similar gesture from Brian Andrew.

An article by the CBC states that many businesses on Prince Edward Island have banded together to help make the broadcast corporation’s annual turkey drive a success.

The report states that Andrew has donated all of the November earnings from his three-year-old Shadow Play colt, Hurrah, to the turkey drive.

Hurrah won one race in November and finished third on another occasion. He also earned a pair of fourth-place cheques.

In total, Hurrah raced to $2,100 in purse earnings in November.
